Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how to delete your data from Adload (adload.app) and from the Meta integration you connected through Adload. Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / DSGVO Art. 17), you have the right to request erasure of your personal data at any time.

What gets deleted

  • Your Adload account (email address, profile metadata)
  • The Meta access token Adload stored for your ad accounts
  • Cached Meta ad account metadata (account names, currencies, timezones)
  • Every preset, copy template, and enhancement setting you created
  • Every video / image asset you uploaded to Adload
  • Any build history or logs tied to your account

Deletion does not remove ads that Adload created in your Meta Ad Account — those live in Meta, not in Adload, and you control them directly in Meta Ads Manager.

How to delete your data — two ways

Option A — Email request (works today)

Send an email from the address associated with your Adload account to support@adload.appwith the subject "Delete my data". We confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days as required by Art. 17 GDPR. Tax records that German law requires us to keep are retained for the legally mandated period (up to 10 years per § 147 AO) and then removed.

Option B — In-app deletion (coming soon)

A self-service "Delete my account" button will be available inside the app under Settings → Account. Clicking it removes your account and all associated data immediately, with a 30-day undo window. While this feature is being built, please use Option A.

Disconnecting Meta separately

You can also revoke Adload’s access to your Meta account independently of deleting your Adload account. Open Facebook → Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites → find "Adload" → Remove. Once removed, Adload can no longer read or write to your ad accounts even if your Adload account still exists.

Confirmation and verification

Before we delete, we verify that the request comes from the account owner. We may ask you to confirm from the same email address registered with your Adload account. Once verified, deletion is irreversible.
